PINNACLE AWARD

The following is a listing of activities which earn our organization points toward the Pinnacle Award. All members should be
alert for ways in which we can earn points, and work toward the Award. Our Association will earn a CASH prize if we win!

PURPOSE:

To recognize local association achievement in management, membership development,
membership programs, service to NAIW, and service to the industry.

MEMBERSHIP
Increase in Membership, 0-25%	25 points
Increase in Membership, 26% or more	50 points
Each member who serves on Membership Committee	5 points
ATTENDANCE
Average attendance 50% or more of total membership	200 points
Each member who attends State Meeting	25 points
Each member who attends Regional Conference	50 points
Each member who attends National Convention	75 points
Each member who serves on a committee at the state council meeting, regional conference, or national convention	10 points
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - EDUCATION
Each association-sponsored course given during the year	50 points
Each member who attends any of these courses	10 points
Each member who takes any of these courses as a self-study or from other sponsors	5 points
Each association seminar given during the year (must last at least 2 hours)	25 points
Each member who attends any of the seminars	10 points
Each non-member who attends the seminars	5 points
Each Member who attends seminars at the state council meeting	5 points
Each CPIW/CPIM in the local association	5 points
Each scholarship that the local association awards to non-members	25 points
Each education article published in your local association bulletin	5 points
Each member who serves on the Education Committee	5 points
Each NAIW program or course that the local association offers	100 points
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - LEGISLATIVE
Each legislative article published in the local association bulletin	5 points
Each letter that any member writes to any state or national legislator	10 points
Each member who participates in the NAIW-sponsored Legislative Day	10 points
Each member who works on a campaign committee and/or with their precinct during elections	5 points
MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - MISCELLANEOUS
Each member who speaks about NAIW or other insurance-related topics to other organizations, not as a part of elected duties	25 points
Each bulletin or newsletter that the local association publishes	10 points
If local association enters a contestant in a state speak-off	25 points
If local association enters a contestant in a regional speak-off	25 points
Each association activity conducted in connection with NAIW Week	25 points
Each activity where the industry was promoted and the public was invited	50 points
Each member who serves as a regional vice-president, state director, or state chairman during the period covered by the Award	50 points
